If you want to enter the location of Pura Luhur Uluwatu, visitors must pay an entrance ticket of IDR 30,000 for adults, IDR 20,000 for children. For foreign tourists, a different price is charged which is IDR 50,000 for adults and IDR 30,000 for children.

 

Interesting Traditional Dance at Pura Luhur Uluwatu

In addition to the architectural appeal of the temple and the beauty of the sunset, tourists can also watch traditional Balinese dance performances, namely the Balinese Kecak Dance. Kecak Uluwatu dance is performed by 50-100 dancers. Kecak dancers are mostly men and the stories performed are usually Ramayana stories. Kecak Uluwatu Dance is performed in the afternoon before sunset, starting from 18.10 to 19.00 Balinese time. To watch the Kecak Dance performance, visitors must pay a ticket for IDR 100,000. This price applies to both domestic and foreign tourists.

There are Cute Monkeys in the Forest Area in Uluwatu

Besides being able to see the beauty of the Indian Ocean and Kecak dance performances, visitors can also see monkeys in the Forest Area in Uluwatu.

There are two main entrances to enter the Uluwatu Temple area, where there is access to the entrance from the north and access from the pavilion in the south. Every visitor who will enter the temple will see a lush forest. This forest will be passed by visitors to the temple area. While walking down the road, visitors will find many gray-tailed gray-tailed monkeys roaming around the forest area. Visitors should pay extra attention to their valuables if they do not want to be robbed by these monkeys.
